Not in the covered mall itself. What you have instead is casinos on both sides of all five blocks, and every one of them is free to walk into. You don't need to be a guest or buy anything.
Which ones are easiest to get to?
They front directly onto the street, so any of them works. Going west to east you'll pass Circa, Golden Gate, the D, Binion's, Four Queens, Fremont and Golden Nugget. Unlike the Strip, these are small properties packed close together, so you're rarely more than a minute from a door.
Is there anywhere on Fremont that isn't a casino?
Yes. There's a Walgreens at 495 East Fremont Street, open 24 hours. There are places to eat under the canopy, and Fremont East just past it is lined with bars and restaurants. Whether you need to buy something will vary by business.
What's open late?
All of it. Fremont Street is open 24 hours and so are the casinos. The overhead light show runs from 6 p.m. to 1 a.m., which is when the street is busiest and when the nearest restroom is most likely to have a line.
