Restrooms at Las Vegas New Year's Eve
Are there restrooms on the Las Vegas Strip on New Year's Eve?
Some, but not many for close to half a million people, and most of them are drinking. Porta potties go out along the closed section of the Strip and they're hard to find. They don't improve as the night goes on. Go before you settle into a spot.
Can you use a casino restroom on New Year's Eve?
Once the resorts fill up they close their doors and check for a room key or a players card, so anyone without one is out on the street.
Where's the best place to stand if I'll need a restroom?
Close to where you're staying. A room key gets you back into your own resort after the doors close, and that's the most reliable restroom on the Strip that night.
Can I leave the Strip and come back if I need a restroom?
Not easily. The Strip closes to traffic in the early evening and doesn't reopen until around 4 a.m. Whatever you can reach on foot is what you have.
Are there accessible restrooms on the Strip on New Year's Eve?
Resort restrooms are accessible, but only if you can get inside. Tap the ADA filter for accessible locations near the Strip.
